Panyang River is the mother river of Bama. The scenery is beautiful, and the river is green and the environment is natural. The Bama Panyang River Scenic Area is also known as the Changshou River Scenic Area. Panyang River originates from Qiaoyin Township, Fengshan County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, passes through the Fengshan Shuiyuan Cave, and passes through the Baimo Cave and bainiao rock in the Jiazuan Township. Finally, the river empties into cifu Lake, which is 145 kilometers in length. And it flows through a 60-kilometer section in the territory of Bama. Panyang Village was at the middle section, hence the name Panyang River.
The karst landforms along the Panyang River are quite numerous. Panyang River has good water quality, it is rich in minerals and trace elements selenium that are beneficial to human health. Most people living along the river live longer, so Panyang River is also known as “Longevity River". Panyang River has a beautiful scenery and picturesque scenery. The river is crystal clear. Along the river, there are famous sights such as Jiangzhou Xianren Bridge, Xingren Waterfall and Baimo Cave.
Jiangzhou xianren bridge
The Xianren Bridge is located between two mountains. The bridge connects two mountains on both sides. Jiangzhou Xiaohe River and Fengshan-Jiangzhou Highway pass under it and looks like a natural arch bridge. It spans 118 meters long, 76 meters wide and 58 meters high. At both ends of the bridge, there are natural platforms and caves for excursions, where legendary fairies and mortals sing songs and rest.
Baimo cave
Baimian Cave is located in the west of Poyue Village, Jiazhuan Township, Bama County, Guangxi Province, and is the most magnificent limestone cave. In 1987, when karst geologists from China and the United Kingdom stepped into the Baimo Cave and conducted joint investigations, they all agreed that the cave is a combination of the beauty of caves in the world and can be called “the first hole in the world”. The average height of the cave is 80 meters and the width are 70 meters. One of the unique features of the baimo Cave is its large stalactite. according to the measurement, the highest stalagmite is 39 meters in height and 10 meters in diameter. The vast majority of the longevity elderly in Bama drink the spring water here. It is said that the water here has the effect of moisturizing skin care, and the most famous one is the spring water of Changlu Mountain in the village of Banjiao in Taoxiang Town. It is known as “immortal water” in the area and can cure all diseases.
Bainiao rock
Bainiao rock, or birds rock is a unique underground river cave, is a “masterpiece” of nature for hundreds of millions of years. The origin of bainiao rock is mainly formed by the expansion of the underground river water over the long process of dissolution, erosion, and collapse. The hole is warm in winter and cool in summer. There are flying animals such as Hirundo rupestris, rock eagles, kingfishers, bats, etc. inhabit in the cave. Every time the morning glow rises or the sun sets over the west, thousands of Hirundo rupestris fly out of the hole and it is a spectacular scenery.
Bama Longevity village
Bama longevity Village, especially refers to the Bapan tun and Nonglao tun of jiazhuan township. longevity Village faces Mountain and Panyang River. there are more than 500 people in village, seven of them are centenarians, exceeding international standards by 200 times. so it was rated as "hometown of longevity."
Longevity island
