Guangxi province is a provincial administrative unit, and has a capital of Nanning and 13 other cities: Guilin, Liuzhou, Hezhou, Hechi, Bise, Laibin  Guigang, Wuzhou, Yulin, Beihai, Qinzhou, Fangchenggang and Chongzuo. Its full name is Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and its short name is Gui. Guangxi is the abbreviation of west lu of Guangnan which is the name of Guangxi in Song Dynasty(960AD-1279AD ), and Gui has the origin from Guilin prefecture set in the Qin Dynasty( 221BC-207BC). Guangxi has a history for more than two thousand years, and becomes a part of China from the Qin Dynasty and officially becomes a province in 1363.
