Crystal Palace is located in Nashe Township, Bama Yao Autonomous County, hechi city, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The caves are developed in the karst landforms of the peak cluster depression, with undulating terrain. the hole is located on the slopes of the karst peak clusters, and are 150m above the modern erosion surface. Crystal Palace is now a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and is applying to the AAAAA-level scenic spot of the Min River-Crystal Palace.

"China National Geography" magazine highly praised the Crystal Palace and called it "after examining more than 100 tourism caves in China, I think it should be the most beautiful one in the tourist caves that have been developed in China". Among the karst landscapes in China, it is listed as one of the seven most beautiful tourist caves (Boma Crystal Palace in guangxi, Guizhou Zhijin Cave, Chongqing Wulong Furong Cave, Chongqing Fengdu Xueyu Cave, Hunan Zhangjiajie Huanglong Cave, Hubei Enshi Tenglong Cave and Beijing Shihua Cave)

Discovery

According to local villagers' memories, one day in June 2004, a villager was sleeping outside the cave due to fatigue. He woke up and found out that there was a cool breeze blown out of the cave at a little stone cave next to him. He suspected that there might be a hole in the cave.  When the villager and his accomplices excavated the small hole, they found a large cave in it. The stalactites in the cave were all crystal-like, with various shapes and dazzling sights, leaving people unforgettable. Later, the “Crystal Palace” scenic spot was inspected, demonstrated, planned, and designed by experts of the Institute of Karst from Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences. On September 20, 2007, the Bama Crystal Palace opened to the public.

Overview

Crystal Palace is a corridor-shaped medium-sized cave. The cave is basically developed along the plane of the rock formation. Except for a few halls, the overall height of the cave is not very high. According to preliminary investigations, the total length of the Crystal Palace is more than 1,000 meters, 8 to 50 meters in width and 10 to 80 meters in height.

Crystal Palace has the largest goose tube group in the country and is a rare landscape in the domestic caves. The stalactites of the Crystal Palace are classified into gravity water sediments and non-gravity crystals sediments. Gravity water sediments include geese pipe, stalactites, stalagmites, peristele, stone stripes, stone flags, various types of curtain, rock falls, cave shields, etc. There are dozens of non-gravity crystal sediments such as stone hair, helictite, and stone flower. The shape is multi-colored, snow-white purity, dainty and exquisite, and the world's art treasures are in one hole, as well as are growing. It is of great ornamental value and scientific inquiry value.

Features

Most stalactites produce gravitational water sediments due to gravity during the crystallization process. However, very few extremely stalactites crystallize from capillary water, thin film water, and fog water to produce non-gravity sediments. The non-gravity sediments on the top of the caves in the Bama Crystal Palace stained the roof of the Crystal Palace into white.

Although 97% of the world's karst caves are ever-changing landscapes, the stalactites are all the same, and they only have gravitational water sediments, such as Reed Flute Cave, Qixingyan, rock in Guilin, Yiling Rock in Nanning in, hook holes in Yulin, baimo Caves in Bama, Anshun's Dragon Palace ... and so on. Only 3% of the world's karst caves can see non-gravity sediments, such as Shihuadong in Beijing, Furongdong in Wulong, Xiaolong Cave in Yunfu, and Crystal Palace in Bama. Guilin's Chuanshan Rock and Anshun's Zhijin Cave also have a few. Only 3% of the world's karst caves can see non-gravity sediments, such as Shihua cave in Beijing, Furong cave in Wulong, panlong Cave in Yunfu, and Crystal Palace in Bama. Guilin's Chuanshan Rock and Anshun's Zhijin Cave also have a few.

However, there are hundreds of millions of non-gravity water curly rock flowers, boundless crystal frost and stonefur in the Bama Crystal Palace. This type of curved stalactite is particularly rare in caves because the stalactite is formed by gravitational water in the cave. Where there is light in the cave, the stalactite may be bent under the influence of creatures. However, the "curved stalactite" of the Crystal Palace is in the depth of the cave and there is no visible light irradiation. It is a miracle to form a curved shape under this condition for a long time. Its wide range, quantity, color and whiteness are the first in the world and it can be called a Masterpiece.
