The Jiangshan Peninsula is situated in the southern bank of Beibu Gulf of mainland China, with an area of 208 square kilometers and is the largest peninsula in Guangxi. Jiangshan Peninsula Tourist Resort is a provincial tourism holiday development zone approved by the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in 1994. It is located in the south of Jiangshan Township, Fangchenggang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The planned area is 95.96 square kilometers. It is the Geographic core of Dongxing experimental area international economic zone. (Pearl bay international tourist area.).

 

It is praised as “tourist resort, sports paradise” that combines tourism, sports, and leisure in one. In 2012, it was named “China's Most Beautiful Leisure Resort”, and in 2013 it was identified as a national 5A key cultivation area in Guangxi. In January 2014, it was rated as "China's Top Ten Ocean Travel Destinations", "China's Most Beautiful Self-Driving Travel Destination" and "China's Best Healthy Leisure Travel Destination". It belongs to a subtropical oceanic climate region. It enjoys a warm climate all year round, no cold winter, no summer heat, and a peak travel season of 9 months.

Bailang beach

Bailang Beach was formerly known as Dapingpo, a national 4A-level tourist attraction. Located in the southeastern part of the Jiangshan Peninsula, it is the core scenic spot of the resort area. It is 5.5 kilometers long and 2.8 kilometers wide and has a rare 15 square kilometers of titanic beach in the world. Hundreds of thousands of people can do beach sports at the same time. The beach is hailed as "The First Beach of Southland" and "Oriental Hawaii". Due to the smoothness of the beach, it is often seen that the white waters are rolling, forming the magnificent scene of "black sand and white waves". the annual tourist volume has exceeded 5 million.

 

Golden Camellia Rare Plant Demonstration Base

It is a newly-developed scenic spot that integrates golden camellia viewing, Bihu fishing, golf experience, hot spring vacation, high altitude development training and various leisure sports.

 

Mangrove Protection Zone

The " mangrove " is named for its bright red flowers. It is a natural barrier that protects the coast. It can withstand storm surges, wind and embankments, and is a unique sea plant that purifies seawater. It has a reputation as a "guardian of the coast." :It was designated as a national Marine nature reserve in 2000 and was included in the international GEF demonstration area project in 2004. 155 species of macrobenthos, 27 species of fish, and 187 species of birds (including the world's most endangered species of black-faced spoonbills) play and feed here.

 

Strange Stone Beach

Located at the foot of Dengjiazhai Ridge, the second highest point of the peninsula, is a sea erosion landscape with brown-red stones. After millions of years of surf carving, they form natural stone sculptures of various and strange shapes.

 

Moon Bay

The bay named because of its shape resembling the moon. It is divided into a bay, two bays, and three bays, all of which are half-moon shaped. Here the beach is gentle, sand is soft clean golden, it is an ideal place for swimming, playing in the water, watching the sea, and leisure.

 

Pearl Bay

It is the earliest production area of Nanzhu in China. It is located on the west side of the Jiangshan Peninsula. It is also known as Pearl Harbor. It covers an area of more than 70 square kilometers. It is the main producing area of Nanzhu in ancient China and it is known as the "hometown of pearls."
