Detian Waterfall lies in Detian Village, Shuolong Township, Daxin County, Chongzuo City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. On the upper reaches of the Guichun River at the border between China and Vietnam, the waterfall is magnificent and spectacular. This waterfall crosses the boundary between China and Vietnam and joins with the Banyo Waterfall in Vietnam (“Bản Connected by Giốc & Đức Thiên”), which is the largest cross-country waterfall in Asia and world’s second largest Transnational waterfall. The average annual water flow rate is about three times that of Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou. It is a national AAAA-class tourist attraction in China. In January 2016, the National Tourism Administration and the Ministry of Environmental Protection determined that the detian Scenic Spot in Chongzuo City, Guangxi Autonomous Region is a national eco-tourism demonstration area.
The formation of Detian Waterfall is mainly Middle Devonian dolomitic limestone, which is a typical karst waterfall. Detian Falls is connected to the banyo waterfall in Vietnam, about 200 meters wide and more than 60 meters deep, which originated from the Guichun River in Jingxi County, Guangxi. The water flowed down from the 80-meter-high Putang Island bordering Vietnam and it goes through three terraces as it flows down from on high.Below the flowing waterfall is a deep pool, with more than 30 meters deep and more than 200 meters wide. In the deep pool, there are many kinds of fish. These fish are quite plump and delicious. The surrounding farmers often come to the pool to catch the fishes. the fishing boat floats under the waterfall, rendering the waterfall more poetic and dynamic. villagers usually sing folk songs as they cast the nets. Wild songs echo in the mountains and there is a joyous, carefree and lively atmosphere.
There are more than 40 state-level scenic spots in the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area. Besides the detian waterfall, there are many other attractive scenes awaiting your visit, including the Heishui River, Qiaomiao Lake, Guichun Boundary River, Shatun Waterfall, No.53 Mere Stone and numerous cultural relics and rare animals.The best time to visit detain waterfall is from June to November. the water amount is large and the water quality is clear during the rainy season, it is the best time to enjoy waterfalls. Detian Falls has plenty of water in summer and the surrounding vegetation is lush and green.

Heishui river, or black water river is a tributary of the Zuojiang River, which Originated from Dalongtan pool, Huanhe Village, Xinjing Town, Jingxi City, Guangxi Province, flowing through Vietnam and Chongzuo City, Guangxi. The Heishui River flows through the deep mountain valleys, forming many natural waterfalls and drop points. It got the name because of the black reflections of trees and hills.
Longhushan mountain has a mild climate with more than 1200 plants. The forest coverage rate is as high as 97%. It is a natural oxygen bar. Longhushan mountain is also an animal sanctuary. more than 200 species of wild animals are live here. The most striking one is the macaque monkey. It is said that there are 8 groups of macaque monkey and a total of more than 3,000. Here you can get in close contact with the monkeys and see how they play with the tourists.
The Satundie Waterfall, also known as rendi Waterfall, is a famous waterfall in Detian scenic area. A legend tells that it is the place where seven fairies once bathed. Hence, The fall flows down from seven terraces. Compared to the magnificent scenery of the Detian Falls, the satundie Waterfall is gentle and sensational.
